Enrico Saleri A generous, fun, and enlightened man. The man of doing but above all of thinking. A strong personality that guided him like a compass throughout his entire existence. A path marked by disruptive choices and often breaking ones, compared to the family history that seemed already written. Belonging to one of the most active families in the Lumezzane area, he was able to independently redesign his professional and personal career. Far from any form of life that can be defined today with the term “comfort zone” but more inclined to indulge in sensations, pursue intuitions and risk the future without certainty, relying only on one’s own strength, with the relentless duty to prove to himself that he can succeed. Surrounded by new, historical and rediscovered friends with whom he shared defeats and successes, in whom he found sincere allies especially at the origins of Eurotermo, he was able to enjoy the total dedication and cooperation of his wife and children who, tireless, have always been by his side, even when it was necessary to roll up their sleeves, accept difficult moments made up of concrete renunciations and choices which, in some ways, led to isolation from the family of origin. But no sacrifice or privation have ever been worth more than the desire for redemption that has constantly accompanied the whole Saleri family, even of the fourth generation. The passing of the baton from Enrico Saleri to his son and daughter was immediate, and resulted in a wide- spread of energy, which brought together all the people in the company in the project of defining the building of the new identity, of the new era of Eurotermo which today celebrates 40 years of history. Against any academic theory of the generational transition made by steps, with calibrated and planned actions, today’s events confirm that the aware- ness of the roles counts, that the changes at the top of an organization does not only concern transfers of shares, corporate structure, or distribution of roles, but the wealth of corporate skills and know-how, the protection of the brand identity, but above all what matters is the safeguarding of family value.
